Welcome to the Gate City Sport Shooting Association (GCSSA) website. Here you will find information concerning the GCSSA and the Oregon Trail Shooting Range.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

NOTICE OF BRIDGE CLOSURE. As part of the I-15 widening project, the bridge that crosses the freeway at 2-1/2 Mile Rd will be closed intermittently. They will be demolishing the old bridge half at a time and replacing each half as they go. They will maintain one lane of access through the project, but they will close the bridge during certain scheduled times.

The bridge is closed this week (Monday, January 13th through Friday, January 17th) from 8 am to 5 pm, which essentially closes the range for the entire day each day. We are still planning to have our range meeting on Thursday, January 16th at 7 pm.

The bridge will be open over the weekend (Jan 18th and 19th) and the NRL22 match is still on.

The bridge will be closed again during the nights on January 23rd and 24th from 7 pm to 5 am. This should not affect range access during the daytime hours.

NOTICE: 2025 memberships have been distributed to our partner vendors. 2025 memberships will work through the end of this year and through 2025.

We still have a few LIFETIME members who missed our pickup dates, and our attempts to contact them to issue a new membership key-card. We are holding these cards until we are contacted by the members to verify their information. Please email gatecityssa@gmail.com if you have not yet received your card.
